An Inclusive Way Of Life
THE BRAELYNN FOUNDATION
Who We Are
AN INCLUSIVE WAY OF LIFE
Our mission is to provide inclusive experiences for special needs children with different abilities. Through partnerships, sponsorship, fundraising and donations, we will be able to create inclusive environments to compassionately entertain, educate and empower the community.
PROVIDE A MEAL
PROVIDING A FULFILLING MEAL TO FAMILIES STAYING AT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE.
At The Braelynn Foundation, we understand too well how stressful it is for families having a child hospitalized for an extensive stay. Having a decent meal is probably the last thing families think of in such a traumatic time. Often times, meals become very expensive resulting in families either half-eating after exhausting resources or not eating at all. The Braelynn Foundation Partnered with The Ronald McDonald House on both November 7th and December 10th, 2017 to provide lunch for families staying at The Ronald McDonald House.
EGG-STRA SPECIAL EASTER BASKETS
REMEMBERING CHILDREN IN HOSPITALS DURING HOLIDAYS
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to remember children who do not have the luxury of being at home with family during special holidays. Often times, children in the hospital for extensive stays are forgotten about and it can be a very lonely time for them. We partnered with Children's Hospital Of Birmingham, Al to provide 50 Easter Baskets to children of all ages.
BRAELYNN'S PLAYGROUND AT BESSIE ESTELL PARK
CREATING AN INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL CHILDREN TO THRIVE
With this initiative, our goal is to promote inclusiveness by erecting a playground that cater to all children with different abilities. With access to the right resources, children can play, interact and make friends without being excluded because of the lack of adaptive playground equipment.
